god damn that Jack Palance is playing his heart out in this role. top tier acting. Probably Palance's best performance. He really got into this character. Stounding performance by Jack Palace.
Woodstock
Thank you Joni (Mitchell), for writing this amazing song. Joni created a great song, but Crosby stills Nash and Young made it iconic
I guess some people or maybe most people didn't know she wrote the song
Love Joni too! Think in a Led Zep song, one of their lyrics is “oh Joni”, might have been a live performance. She gets a lot of love from everyone, as she should.
Mom always told me this is the album she wanted to be playing at her funeral. Cryptic. She passed in 2006. I was lost. Only child single mom. But I got this right. Played over the loud speakers inside the chapel. How lucky I was to have her.
CSNY played it as an anthem; Mitchell as a lament. Both are true.
God bless the 60s and 70s and all Baby Boomers
The original is by Joni Mitchell, who even didn't attend the festival.
2025 still listening. Probably will till I die
Written by Joni Mitchell, who actually didn't attend the Woodstock concert. But she sure did nail the lyrics about U.S. kids in '69. Stunning. And the CSNY/Stills/Dallas Taylor version is equally stunning.
