Recorded in 1958 at Associated Recording Studios in New York City, an unknown female vocalist warbles through a snappy demo version of 'Stupid Cupid', composed by Neil Sedaka & Howard Greenfield. The tune eventually found its way to singer, Connie Francis who recorded it and garnered one of her biggest hit records. This acetate disc which plays at 78 r.p.m. was shown and played for Neil Sedaka in November 2020 and he unfortunately, could not remember the name of the woman that he hired to sing the vocal. It is also interesting to note that the tune was initially published through 'Beechwood Music' and then by Aldon when recorded and released by Connie Francis.
