I have something for You to think about: If Led Zeppelin doesn't play at my funeral, I'm not dying.

Led Zeppelin perform 'Whole Lotta Love' at the Royal Albert Hall in 1970.

80yrs old, i was there in that audience.... I think my ears are still ringing...

I’m 80 and this remains mind boggling even now! What a time it was to be alive in the 60s and 70s! Rock on!🤘🏻

This is the most organized, and best sounding, chaos has ever been.

Four guys (singer, guitarist, bassist, drummer). Fans close to stage. No riots. No fireworks (except the band's performance). No special effects. Nothing but raw, unfiltered, straight-up rock and roll. Amazing. This is how it was. This is how it should be again.

That one fan who shouted "woman!!" and to which Plant replied "aah". That's one of the best moment you could ever have as a fan. About 4:58That was funny. Plant was like a teacher telling a cocky schoolkid not to get ahead of the poem being read. In 2024 he couldn't put the word woman in a song because we don't know what the definition of a woman now.

Robert: WAYY DOOWNNN INSIIIIDEEE... Audience member at 4:53 : WOMAAAN... Robert: Ah!

Astounding! If ever Rock-n-Roll gods existed, here they are. And imagine, you could stand there right up close, your elbows on the stage, while this happened. I have no words.

I love Led Zeppelin because as you scroll through the top comments, there are comments of admiration and adoration separately for all four band members. That's remarkable.

I am 74 yrs old, I saw them 8 times in Houston starting 1970, the best ever.

Two greatest bands ever: Zeppelin and The Beatles, beautiful lyrics and beautiful riffs.

In a similar vein, Queen was unique in that all 4 members wrote a #1 song.

I noticed that too. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be

only band I can think of where every member is an absolute virtuoso in their craft

Ugh they sound and look so damn good. This era of rock is unparalleled and my soul aches for it.

Yes. I lived it. My boyfriend worked for a major rock concert promoter in our hometown of New Orleans in the 70s. I saw shows backstage or in photographer's seats. He worked with LZ, the Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Jethro Tull, R.E.M., everybody. Beam me back to the 70s, Scotty. My soul aches for that era for a lot of reasons, especially the music.

This day was Jimmy's 26th birthday. JPJ had turned 24 a few days before. Robert and Bonzo were both 21. They were so young and so unbelievably good!!

Page, Plant and Jones are masters, but that beast on the kit is what makes them godlike.

기타를 연주하는 경지를 뛰어넘고 또 뛰어남어서 가지고 노는 경지입니다!!

Best guitarist. Best drummer. Best singer. Best bass player. ALL in one group!!

John Paul Jones: the most criminally underrated bass player of all time. The way he and Bonham understood each other and created a tapestry of rhythm and groove never fails to amaze.

That voice! The hair! Those jeans! Hell yeah!

Who had the best HAIR in all of Rock History? Robert Plant, of course. So tall, so handsome, my sister met him at an LA restaurant & said he was better looking in person. @teresavandyck784

The live video of the song really captures how heavy it actually was. Certified early heavy metal classic.

Jonesy may not have had the popularity the rest of the members but his contribution is just unmistakable. His bass is just flawless and powerful in this song. He could play a lot of instruments. He was the one who wrote Black Dog, and also the one who showed Jimmy how to play it

Bonham was the heartbeat that drove the band; Jonsey was the glue.

The way Bonham's brain was wired was simply out of the ordinary. No drummer ever did it like him.

0:10 In fact, that look that Jimmy and Robert give is phenomenal, it should be on the list of the greatest moments in the history of Rock!

Plants voice is like a fingerprint! It is one of a kind! His voice was at its very best, the late 60s and early 70s! You have the perfect recipe of musicians as a foursome called Led Zeppelin.

I listen to Pink Floyd a lot but when I think about the ultimate rock and roll it has absolutely Led Zeppelin!

Long ago and far away, there was Bach, Beethoven and then Led Zeppelin. The final chapter of great music.

these guys were only 22-26 years old during this show, completely fully formed, original and inimitable.

How is it possible that some of Led Zeppelin's songs sound extraordinary when they performed live?

all their songs sound better live imo. Heavier.

Their individual talents brought together with the chemistry between these 4 was PURE MAGIC!! I was born in 70 so I grew up (literally bopping my my playpen to zeppelin, my parents still have the old footage).... Zepp gets me through everything!!!

they could perform live, they had talent and they were good at improvisation (very good)...

They are improve jammers at heart ))) Dead today

LZ (probably) the best band I ever saw live. And I've gone to 100's of concerts.

What they did in studio and what they did on stage was one and the same. It's the reason why Zep 1 was recorded in like 36 hours. They'd just hit record on a jam session and boom, that's essentially the record.

Jones is the best member of Led Zeppelin. You have Jimmy killing it on guitar, Robert singing, Bonzo is keeping the time. all 3 of them gunning hard for the spotlight. Jones holds them all together in every last song! He's consistent, he's well trained, he's the most important piece!

I thank God every day that I had the grace to grow up in this time. The memory will last a lifetime

This is "Whole Lotta Love" Best live version ever. Especially if it the Legendary "Royal Albert Hall". You Damn right it's gonna be Iconic!

Whoever screamed out "Woman" from the audience, is a legend. 4:59 min. . .hit that correct note. .I can never listen to this without a tear in my eye. It was one of my cousin Tracey’s favourite songs and we used to dance to it down at the local rock club in the late 1970s and ‘80s. I loved it too. Tracey died in 2001 from her fourth lot of cancer. She was 42. @DizMO-j9k

I saw the band June 1972. I was pregnant and I was the most happiest young woman in the world

Considering that the industry has officially killed rock, enjoy my friends the greatest live rock band in history slaying their most iconic song!! T.u.r.n. I.t. U.p. !!

Led Zeppelin perform Bring It On Home, live at the Royal Albert Hall 1970

They didn’t play songs…they attacked them. Pure genius

This sounds so much nastier and amazing than any other cut they did of the song. Less polished, more raw. I love it. Can’t believe this is 55 years old.
Jimmy is the coolest dude to ever rock an argyle sweater vest. I already thought I need to find one like that...Page was cool without even knowing how cool.

Rock And Roll (Live at Madison Square Garden, New York, 1973)."Rock and Roll" single 8 November 1971

It's been a long time since I rock and rolled It's been a long time since I did the Stroll Oh let me get it back let me get it back Let me get it back baby where I come from It's been a long time been a long time Been a long lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely time Yes it has

For me this is the best start for a concert.

This was what Page and Plant used as an encore performance to close the shows during 1998

such a raw and heavy version - rips it wide open

The first I heard of Led Zeppelin was their name carved into a desk at school!

A feast for the eyes, a feast for the hears, a feast for the heart, a feast for the soul.

No strobe lights no lasers no smoke machines no fireworks just the most kick ass band ever.

I was at this concert . I was 21 yrs old , never forget that night. holy shit... maybe I got a little jealous.. ok forget "a little" must be amazing!! I was not even walking this earth that time. Damn, I'm jelly. I wish I went to this concert but It was like 20 years before I was born. We’re you in the crowd at 0:33 or the other crowd featured? And why are there 2 different crowds in the video?!? Because there’s film from 3 different nights.

A time when rock and roll ruled. Led Zeppelin were rock gods. Nobody could touch them. Their sound ran through your veins. I go back in time listening to these sounds that shattered the stratosphere.
