Tout aux tavernes et aux filles
phrase de Violet, prononcée en français, faisant référence au fait qu'elle a connu le père de Lord Hepworth dans sa jeunesse, est tirée du poème "Ballade des dames du temps jadis" de François Villon.
Cette ballade a été abondamment commentée. Mais la clef poétique est dans le pluriel, les neiges; car Villon a été le premier à employer le mot au pluriel dans le cadre d’une plainte sur le temps qui passe.

It is the work of an Attic workshop, around 480–470 BC. Scholars have suggested Euphronios or Onesimos as the painter, or described it as in the manner of the Pistoxenos Painter. "Sing for the gold-haired Pythios". Diam. 18 cm, 460 v. Chr., Delphi. Archaeological Museum.
