2015 Bodensee, painting is from the ~1990s, Home Stereo set up: I tried to build and arrange with the epitome of Phil Spector's 'Wall Of Sound' vibe. The loudspeakers in the middle row are big volume, through big cabinet speakers, SONY's from the 70s, loudly if I am alone, and still in use.

Notes by Anthony Reichardt: - Out of Los Angeles, recorded October 1964 in studio 'A' at Gold Star Recording Studio, this is 'take 38' and 'take 39' of the basic rhythm track before the addition of strings, background choir and lead vocals for the tune which would go to be named by BMI as the most played record of the 20th century. The epitome of Phil Spector's 'Wall Of Sound', it's a very interesting perspective to hear the construction of one of his most majestic productions. Note: The studio shot in this video of the 'Wrecking Crew' shows drummer HAL BLAINE. For the "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" (The Beach Boys did a cover of the song "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'," which was originally recorded by the Righteous Brothers and written by Phil Spector, Barry Mann, and Cynthia Weil) session, it was drummer EARL PALMER behind the kit. 

Wall of Sound: signature Wall of Sound consisted of one or two or three pianos, four or five or six guitars, as many bassists, drummers and percussionists, all playing together, precisely, and recorded with preternatural care to form a tsunami of aural effect.

I was at this concert. I remember the opening act was Humble Pie. The whole stadium was shaking during the concert and I thought the stadium was going to collapse. I was not able to hear for a day after the concert. But I was able to hear my all-time favorite song, "I'm Your Captain". Still sounds great 54 years later.

 "The wild shirtless vocals of Mark Farner? The bong rattling bass of Mel Shocker? The competent drumming of Don Brewer?

65 and still listening to all the music from the 60s through the 80s.

God, how I miss the music from the late 60s and 70s! There will never be another era like it. Best music ever!

I try to remind everyone how lucky we were to grow up with all the great music, we were extraordinarily blessed! You got that right, you sure got that right. Wish I could go back I have no idea what world we're in anymore. My first concert was yes when I was 11 my second concert was Led Zeppelin it's 12 and a half I was so lucky I've got older brothers and sisters who brought me along
