is a great place to disappear, my eyes keep being drawn to the fabulous prairie skies with her amazing shades of blue and fantastic cloud formations, and the wind blowing on the long grasses. The light is incredible up there, those long summer days are golden!

Prices
Bear Paw $25, Over 80: FREE. "Friendly volunteers, fun fellow skiers, and tasty burgers." "Really great place to hit the slopes for a good price and some good food." "Hidden gem in Montana. It has to be a heavy snow year for them to open as they rely on nature alone. Went last weekend for the first time in a while and the conditions were unbelievable amazing!. All volunteer run, one lift, fun environment." "Well groomed. Multiple trails. Not crowded. We were very pleasantly surprised." "Knee deep steep and cheap baby"
Zermatt has 2,200m vertical drop skiing. $90
Vail, Colorado has a vertical drop of only 1,000 meters but costs $450 !
Jackson Hole, WY Vertical Drop: 1,300 meters
Aspen Snowmass Vertical 1300m $450 ! Corporate mountain. The best resort I have ever skied. Have skied Europe and other North American resorts but Snowmass is still my favourite. Everything is very expensive, every restaurant looks the same. Aspen Village ski is overrated. The food at the mountain lodges is absolutely terrible. skiing is fantastic if you can handle the occasionally snooty attitude. I still like CB and Telluride better. Aspen blow Vail out of the water.

Jimi Hendrix playing the acoustic guitar, the first half features 'Hear My Train Comin' then 'Hound Dog'. This one's an essential rarity.

was an ancient Greek philosopher, an arrogant misanthrope and depressed, a "mob-abuser", who was subject to melancholia, who is quoted as saying "Most men are bad", the first genuine philosopher and an anti-intellectual. Consequently, he became known as "the weeping philosopher". We might well think of him as the first humanist, were it not for the fact that he does not seem to like humanity very well.
The human law, because it is a conventional law, deserves to be abandoned in favor of the law of nature.

I spent the month of July 1959 at Squaw Valley, courtesy of the US Army. Our battalion was charged with installing communications at the ski jumps, prior to the 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Olympics. Needless to say, we had weekends off and Tahoe was the destination. At that time development was scarce around the lake, and it was very beautiful, the water was cold and the girls were friendly. We had a good time. Haven't seen it since.

“I enjoyed my life when I had nothing... and kinda like the idea of just being happy with me.” - Joey Ramone
Went to a Ramones concert in SF in 1982. all the songs are 1:45 long. So I thought the concert would be over in 35 minutes. Best 35 minutes of MY LIFE!
Recorded originally in 1978, but this video was shot ten years later, 1988
My dad loved this song. He passed away in 2019 at age 85 and we played it at his wake. RIP Dad and all the band
This single-take video is fantastic
This was my grandpa’s favorite song before he died in 2016. RIP You had good taste gramps
My mom listened to this song all the time when I was a little kid. No wonder I listen to the music I do now
Your mom rocks
My husband grew up with the Ramones there from Forest hills Queens and they are Orthodox Jews
The Ramones are from Forest hills Queens and they were Orthodox Jewish I guess this is their way of rebellion against their face
The only band i managed to see over ten times...
the best music video ever created. Directed by Billy Fishman, guy I used to hang with, years ago
Ramones knew what they were doing when they wrote songs, short, great sound and easy to learn
I am so glad I got see them live. They played an early show at Lollapalooza in the 90’s and I was right up front. Props to them for wearing leather jackets in that TN heat.

I Art Directed this video - designed built painted the set with help from Gilbert Mercier for I think $400, this really is a very low budget yet effective video. I made 5 break away walls with vermiculite/baby powder "bombs" yet you can't see the guy breaking through the mid right wall and grabbing the nun in this take. the left wall is the stage wall, the right wall is built. 3 takes 1/2 speed. L.A. scenemakers as extras including Rodney Bingenheimer as the pinhead. Bill Fishman (who I also worked with on Tapeheads & Bootsy Collins "Party on Plastic") told me he wished he'd done a couple of 1/4 speeds but felt like he was putting the Ramones through too much already. They were very cooperative with the filming and I think would have done 5 more. The entire crew was instructed to not tell any Ramones people where drugs could be obtained. One of the greatest rock bands ever. Introduced myself and they completely ignored me. So anyway Bill picked the take where you can't see the guy bursting through the wall in a cloud of baby powder and vermiculite and Nick Goodman's free rental plane crashed. Sorry Nick
and Courtney Love dressed as a bride dancing with Zippy...
this video is literally what the world in 2025 looks like.
Who’s watching RAMONES in 2025?🖤
