Brilliant album. There truly was no other. Praised critically, but never charted. He put his heart and soul into this

I met him in 87 during a nostalgia tour with the Byrds, Mark Lindsay. Gene didn't look well.

Great song. Gene Clark should have had a monster album with this one. Must have been blacklisted in the music industry.

John Phillips complained bitterly in a documentary that Gene was sitting in the front row at Monterey when The Mamas &Papas performed there set. A few months later, Gene was back in THE Byrds. John knew what was going on and Michelle was fired briefly.

Gene Clark was a Diamond in the Rough . Most talented Byrd and his Solo albums are superb. I Miss Him.

He did a lot of exceptional solo work. He's getting his due now. A bit late but glad to see it.
